We hold our classes 2 or 3 times a year in Milford depending on demand. They are always during the winter months. The reason for this is we want it to be as close to the baseball season as possible but have you ready for the spring. You can choose a 1 day 3 and 1/2 hour course or a 2 day class of two hours each day. Our curriculumn is divided into two subjects. The first is the rules and the second is plate and field mechanics.

Every participant is awarded a certificate of completion once they have succesfully passed the final exam. If you or your organization ever has a question as to whether an umpire has passed our course, you can contact us for verification.

The location of the seminar will vary depending on your class size but will be in Milford. Traditionally we charge the participants $50 for the class. THat is a fee that they can easily recoup when umpiring. Your organization can choose to pay it yourself or partially defray the cost. We discount to $40 per particiant for groups of 25 or more.

In a time where it is harder and harder to find qualified people to teach your kids AND do it in a professional manner, we are here to help. Remember, the more knowledgable your youth umpires are the more confidant they are. Confidant umpires are less likely to be intimidated by coaches and second guess their own decisions. Lets make sure your youth umpires are taught CORRECTLY by professionals.
