Bio

Carlos Edwin Colón, Jr hails from Puerto Rico. His time in the WWE has brought him two championship belts, The Intercontinental title and the United States Championship. He is the is only the second Puerto Rican to be Intercontinental champion along with the great Pedro Morales.

In 2003, Colón signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. The company assigned him to their developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling as a heel. In October 2004, he made his debut on Smackdown as Carlito Carribean Cool. His gimmick was to eat a piece of apple and spit into the face of people who were not "cool". He took the title from John Cena in his debut but gace it back 45 days later when he sustained a major injury.

Carlito made his pay per view debut at the 2004 Survivor Series, where he represented "Team Angle" in an eight man tag team match against "Team Guerrero" but did not actually participate in the event after being chased out of the building by Cena.

Colon has had several other rivalries, notably with the Bigshow and Ric Flair. He fueded with Shelton Bejamin for awhile after he took the Intercontinental title from him. At the end of 2007, he requested a release from his WWE contract, unhappy with his air time. Vince McMahon convinced him to stay and gave him a shot at the Intercontinental title again in December, a match he lost to Jeff Hardy.
